Thomas S. Monson

"Today the world is competitive, more than it`s ever been. I believe men and women need to get a type of education which will enable them to meet the exigencies of life ... Men and women need to be prepared for a vastly broader scope than we have ever had before".

Hinkley

“It is incumbent upon every member of the Church, as a mandate from the Lord, to get all the education you can get.”

“Education becomes the key of opportunity for everyone in this life. It may involve sacrifice, it may involve unusual effort, but with the help of heaven, it can be had.”
Gordon B. Hinckley

The Yount Program offers three services.

Do you want to achieve a college degree, formal technical training or job advancement?

The Yount Seminar will guide you through the steps. It will help you develop a plan for reaching your goal based upon your current circumstances. It will direct you to the right sources for help and financial resources. These answers and many more are covered in the Yount Seminar. The Seminar is available to all Church members of high school age or above.
Take a look at the Participant's workbook. Much of it can be done on your own, including looking for financial aid and scholarships.
