Educational Advancement Seminar
Do you want to achieve a college degree, formal technical training or job advancement?
The Yount Seminar will guide you through the steps. It will help you develop a plan for reaching your goal based upon your current circumstances. It will direct you to the right sources for help and financial resources. These answers and many more are covered in the Yount Seminar. The Seminar is available to all Church members of high school age or above.

Yount Mini Grants
Do you need a short-term boost for education, training or job advancement?
Worthy Church members age 18-40 are eligible to apply for a mini grant up to $500 for schooling to prepare for college, prepair for technical training or obtain short-term job upgrade training that will result in higer wage.

Yount School Loans
Worthy Church members age 18-40 are eligible to apply for school loans up to $5,000 per year, $10,000 total. The Yount Seminar is required for new students. Those who have successfully completed one or more years of college or technical training may skip the seminar even though most find it helpful. Institute attendance is encouraged while in school. Loan applicants take a copy of the completed application to their bishop and stake president for worthiness signatures.
