MORE SCHOOLING! . . .
. . . WE CAN HELP
Open to LDS Church members in selected regions and populationsThe Yount Program offers three services; they are explained through a Yount fireside.
The Yount Seminar. The Yount Seminar addresses the issues that keep members from further education and job training. It also addresses the factors that have been shown to increase success in further schooling. Regardless of where a person left off in their schooling the program helps them take the next step.
Yount Mini Grants. Worthy Church members age 18-40 are eligible to apply for a mini grant up to $500 for schooling to prepare them for college or formal technical training. Mini grant applicants should attend a Yount Fireside. While they will find the entire Yount Seminar valuable, it is not a requirement.
Yount School Loans. Worthy Church members age 18-40 are eligible to apply for school loans up to $5,000 per year, $10,000 total. Loan applicants are required to first go through the Yount Seminar. Institute attendance is encouraged while in school.
Grant and loan recipients are expected to stay in frequent touch with their respective Yount missionary.
